The Roasting Foundation course provides a first taste of coffee roasting, it is a great way to understand the basic principles in roasting speciality coffee. This course focuses on the roasting process, you will roast several batches, and have hand-on experience to identifying the changes the beans undergo during roasting. Intermediate and Professional levels go into more depth on the chemistry and science of roasting high end specialty coffee.
The course fee for Foundation is the same for SCA members or non members. For Intermediate and Professional, please choose SCA membership of non-member pricing.
